Geoffrey Garrett, a distinguished international political economist and LinkedIn influencer, is the Dean of the USC Marshall School of Business. Since arriving at USC after a successful six-year-term as Dean of the Wharton School, he has led Marshall through a series of unprecedented crises during the coronavirus pandemic. Geoff is a recognized expert in world politics, business and the global economy, and in particular U.S./China relations. He’s held academic appointments at Oxford, Yale and Stanford universities, and is highly sought after by international media for his thought leadership. He holds a BA (Honors) from the Australian National University in his native Australia, and an MA and Ph.D. from Duke University where he was a Fulbright Scholar.
