Prof. Timo Korkeamäki
Dean, School of Business, Aalto University, Finland

Timo Korkeamäki started as the Dean of Aalto University School of Business in January 2020. He was previously the Head of Department of Finance and Economics at Hanken School of Economics in Helsinki. He was also Hanken’s Dean of research in 2015–2018. Dean Korkeamäki received his PhD in International Finance from University of South Carolina in 2001. In addition to having a significant academic track record and international experience, he is an insipiring and cooperative leader.
He has done an excellent job during his two terms of office, ending on 31 December, and has led the School of Business firmly towards the upper echelons of the world’s best institutes.
