Dr. FENG Gengzhong, Professor, PhD Supervisor, and Dean of the School of Management at Xi'an Jiaotong University, Director of the Key Laboratory of Process Control & Efficiency Engineering of Ministry of Education, Director of the Philosophy and Social Sciences Laboratory on System Behavior and Management of the Ministry of Education, Director of Research Center of China Economic Reform Innovation and Assessment, Director of Digital Economy Development Research Center in Xian, China. He also holds concurrent positions as Vice President of the Systems Engineering Society of China and Vice Chairman of the China Society of Logistics.
Dr. FENG's research focuses on information management and e-commerce, logistics and supply chain management, as well as big data and data quality management. He has presided over more than 70 national, ministerial, and corporate research projects. As the lead author or key member, he has participated in the formulation and revision of 14 national standards and 4 industry standards, which have been promulgated and implemented. He has published over 180 papers and received more than 20 teaching and research awards. Additionally, he has submitted over 60 policy recommendations to the central government and the Shaanxi Provincial Government. In recognition of his outstanding contributions to the logistics field, he has been honored with titles such as "Representative Expert in the Logistics Industry for the 40 Years of Reform and Opening Up," "One of the 40 Outstanding Experts in Transportation and Logistics for the 40 Years of Reform and Opening Up" and "Member of the China Logistics 100 People (Think Tank)".
