14:00–17:30 | EFMD GN WORKSHOP: EFMD Activities Addressing Market Trends As a network of business schools and enterprises, EFMD Global Network is dedicated to improving the quality of management education worldwide. The first part of the workshop will introduce participants to the various EFMD activities focused on strengthening the collaboration between business schools and the corporate world. These range from accreditation / certification (e.g. EQUIS, BSIS, CLIP) to project work, professional development and general community building. Discussions will highlight how these service offerings are capturing current market trends such as the rising importance assigned to relevance & impact of management education, the shift towards multidisciplinary thinking in knowledge generation and teaching (thereby e.g. bridging the gap to technology and design), as well as the progressive digitization of educational provision. (the workshop includes a half-hour coffee break) |

09:00–12:00 | EFMD GN WORKSHOP: Quality, Impact and Accreditations EFMD Quality Services offers a portfolio of services supporting business schools in their efforts to achieve market recognition. It consists of institutional accreditation (EQUIS), degree programme accreditation (EPAS), online course certification (EOCCS) and an institutional mentoring scheme (EDAF). The second part of the workshop introduces participants to these offerings with special focus on their commonalities and distinctive features. Participants will learn how to utilize these services effectively as part of their institutional development strategy. (the workshop includes a half-hour coffee break) |
